Relational Therapy

Couples therapy is focused on understanding and healing the origins of communication problems, breakdown in trust, differences in expectations, and management of conflict.  In therapy, through joint and individual sessions, couples will enhance their understanding of the root causes of their conflict, learn how to improve their communication, and learn how to manage and resolve conflict in a healthy manner. Specifically, couples are taught and coached on how to communicate using functional talking and listening boundaries.

This process has the power to change unhealthy patterns, initiate the healing of relational wounds, and re-establish trust which creates the foundation for a healthy, loving relationship.
